My first real rock album (well, technically it was a cassette) that I ever owned was a copy of Meat Loaf’s Greatest Hits, which of course included ‘Bat Out of Hell’. Sure, it would eventually be Bon Jovi that would truly make me into a hard rock fan, but Meat Loaf was where the journey started in a lot of ways.
